Senior Systems Analyst (Student Information Systems)

The Office of Information Technology is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join the team, specifically within the Student Information Systems. The role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting the Student Information Systems and other initiatives. The position requires expertise in application development, system design, testing, and troubleshooting, as well as collaboration with other IT teams and vendors. The position is for a two-year fixed-term contract.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related discipline
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience in application development
• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst with application development expertise
• Excellent skills in Java/JEE development, including EJB, JSF, AJAX, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and modern frameworks such as React and Node.js
• Familiarity with database development: SQL, PL/SQL, and RDBMS such as Sybase, MySQL, and MSSQL
• Scripting and automation using Linux/Unix shell scripting
• Administration and deployment on enterprise web application servers, particularly IBM WebSphere Server and Oracle WebLogic Server
