Job Description
Hmong College Prep Academy is seeking an Elementary ELL Teacher to create a flexible and challenging classroom environment for student success. This role involves supporting English language learners, implementing standards-based lessons, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere. The position requires strong classroom management, differentiation, and collaboration with families and colleagues.
Requirements
- Current MN teaching license in English as a Second Language for grades K-12
- BA or MA in ESL Education or other educational field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Strong skills in classroom presentation and management.
- Knowledge of instructional technologies.
- Knowledge of research and trends in teaching and student learning.
- Ability to use computer and multimedia technology.
- Knowledge of core curriculum areas and a strong preference for trained individuals.
