Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive newsroom experience, including newsroom leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
- Proven ability to lead teams, coach talent, and deliver results under deadline
- Strong grasp of digital platforms, content management systems, and data tools
- Mastery of AP Style, grammar, and editorial best practices
- Excellent judgment and editorial instincts, with the ability to balance breaking news, enterprise, and audience interests
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work across departments
- Skilled in time management, page layout, and multi-platform storytelling
