Newsroom Summer Intern

The Times Union is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Internship Program. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the newsroom and produce impactful journalism.

Requirements

• Must be located in the Capital Region or Hudson Valley for the duration of the internship
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive to assignments
• Students enrolled in a journalism concentration and / or experience working at a college publication, either print or online
• Interns must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited college or university, or have graduated within the past year, at the time of application
• Willingness to collaborate and contribute to a fast-paced newsroom
