Job Description
Responsible for observing contractor's work to monitor project compliance with contract documents and reporting findings. Coordinates and monitors inspection efforts of inspection staff in assigned areas of responsibilities on small to mid-size projects. Assists in the compliance and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 4 years relevant experience, or Master's degree in Engineering and 3 years relevant experience, or Doctorate degree in Engineering and 2 years relevant experience
- Identifies complex discrepancies or conflicts within documents and takes appropriate action to resolve issues
- Performs advanced calculations, develops plots and graphs using Excel, and drafts detailed reports for project progress reporting to the client
- Provides direction on projects to less experienced staff
- Performs advanced shop drawing and submittal review as well as advanced CPM schedule analysis
