Job Description
As a GIS Analyst II at HNTB, you will provide geospatial technology support for transportation industry projects, develop GIS applications, and collaborate with project teams and clients to translate requirements into practical, scalable GIS solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, Planning or related field
- 3 years related experience using ESRI, Intergraph, or Bentley software products
- Experience with FME for spatial data processing and automation (optional)
- Experience developing and maintaining ETL workflows for spatial and non-spatial data
- Familiarity with GIS API integrations (e.g., ArcGIS API for JavaScript, REST services)
- Working knowledge of SQL, including PostGIS
- Experience using Python for geoprocessing, scripting, or automation
- Experience developing or configuring custom GIS applications or widgets (e.g., ArcGIS Experience Builder, Web AppBuilder, or similar frameworks)
- Experience working with cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS), such as deploying or supporting GIS applications, managing data storage, or integrating cloud services into geospatial workflows
