Job Description
The Electrical Preconstruction Manager is responsible for conceptual budgeting and detailed estimating of electrical systems, working alongside other HPM team members to anticipate and fully account for scope of work related to electrical systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
- 7+ years of experience within a Pre-construction/Estimating environment, working with large commercial or industrial projects specifically focused on electrical, low voltage systems, and related utilities
- Advanced knowledge of principles and practices of construction cost estimating, value engineering, conceptual budgeting, and scheduling
- Proficient in MS Office, estimating and scheduling software; Experience with BIM software and Trimble Enterprise (or similar software) preferred
