Service Plumber

The Plumbing Professional is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential homes and some light-commercial applications.

Requirements

• Identify required tools and special equipment
• Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures
• Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment
• Assemble and install valves and fittings
• Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks
• Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixtures
• Communicate with customers in a clear, confident manner
• Work safely and ensure a safe working environment
• Operate drain cleaning and clearing equipment
• Perform or assist on partial and full repipes
