The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for completing various tasks to support the Human Resources department's daily operations and initiatives. This includes assisting employees, providing support for firm-wide and local activities and initiatives, supporting recruiting processes, employee onboarding, and maintaining employee records.
Requirements
- Assists employees in-person, by phone, and via email concerning HR-related topics, policies, and programs
- Supports the recruiting process by managing job postings, candidate sourcing, resume review, pre-screening of candidates, scheduling candidate interviews, and conducting reference checks
- Processes conflict clearances, background checks, and I-9s for new hires
- Coordinates the onboarding process for new hires
- Maintains electronic and/or paper personnel files
- Coordinates and oversees new hire welcome events and annual business professional celebrations
