Job Description
The Registered Nurse (Float Team) is responsible for providing patient-centered care, coordinating care to achieve desired outcomes, and participating in patient and family teaching. The RN must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and service appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited Registered Nursing Program
- Current Michigan RN License
- Current BLS for the Healthcare Provider
- ACLS Certification
- PALS certification
- NRP Certification
- Certification in specialty area (CCRN, CRN, CNOR, CEN, etc)
- Recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience
- 2 years prior RN experience in desired specialty area
- Prior experience with electronic patient documentation system
- Prior experience with technology common to specialty area (i.e., cardiac monitors, IV pumps)
- Bilingual
