The Quality Technician supports manufacturing operations by performing inspections, managing nonconformances, and applying practical quality tools to ensure products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections
- Develop and maintain product-specific inspection plans and quality documentation
- Administer Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), including investigation, documentation, and follow-up actions
- Apply quality tools to identify root causes, trends, and corrective actions
- Partner with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues
- Support production teams with inspection methods, measurement techniques, and quality metrics
- Create, update, and maintain work instructions for critical manufacturing processes
- Accurately record inspection results and prepare quality reports for management review
