Job Description
The Warehouse Forklift Driver will operate a lift truck to transport raw materials, finishing supplies or finished product to and from the warehouse, trailers or operating lines. The driver will also perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment.
Requirements
- Operate a lift truck continually on shift
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment
- Inspect condition of product and move it safely and securely to its proper storage location
- Stage product for outbound loads with correct requirements
- Remove and empty waste bins into proper receptacles
- Operate a powered air supplied respirator to perform cleaning functions
- Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
