Shop Service Technician - Engine

Holt CAT is the largest Caterpillar dealership of heavy equipment in the United States. We have a full-time, 1st shift Engine Technician - Shop position available at our Longview, Texas location. The position requires basic to moderate inspections, diagnoses, and repair of heavy equipment and/or related equipment or components, following established procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• Performs disassembly and assembly of industrial gas or diesel engines or related components to manufacturer’s specifications through the use of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and any specialized tooling
• Demonstrates knowledge of estimating, planning, and controlling the cost of repair jobs
• Maintains all equipment and work areas – keeps in good, clean, and orderly condition
• Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
