Job Description
The Assist Liv Carepartner/CNA position is a full-time, evening shift role that requires providing care and support to elders. The role involves performing various personal care functions, documenting vital signs, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Experience in geriatrics and/or long-term care is preferred, and the successful candidate must be a graduate of an approved CNA program and hold a current Louisiana State CNA certification.
Requirements
- Attend all required Green House Education
- Ability to read and comprehend simple directions
- Must use understanding, compassion, patience, tact and maturity in dealing with the elders, families and visitors
- Graduate of an approved CNA program and holds a current Louisiana State CNA certification
- Previous experience in geriatrics and/or long-term care preferred
- Must have the physical strength required to lift 50 lbs. or more
