Interior Designer

Homebound is seeking an Interior Designer to join its Design Studio team. The role involves developing design packages, working with clients, and collaborating with various teams. The successful candidate will have 4-6+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field.

Requirements

• 4-6+ years of relevant experience in interior design
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
• Experience working in a homebuilder design studio or design firm and leading client meetings
• Experience in selecting interior specifications / finishes for architectural drawings with a strong understanding of materials
• Client facing experience with strong customer service and listening skills
• Experience with design software e.g. Bluebeam Revu and graphics editing tools e.g. Photoshop or InDesign
• Experience with Revit or AutoCAD is preferred and you will be asked to demonstrate your technical ability with computer drafting or redlines using Bluebeam
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities and understanding of most current design trends for residential construction
• Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities
• Strong creativity skills and problem solving aptitude with a keen eye for detail
