Default Servicing Specialist

Hometap is a collaborative and innovative fintech company that provides home equity investment solutions. As a Default Servicing Specialist, you will work with the Investment Support team to ensure timely and accurate execution of default events. The role requires 2+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, loan post-closing, or default servicing, with a strong attention to detail and excellent client service skills.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with mortgage servicing, loan post-closing, or default servicing
• Experience reading mortgage and/or default documents
• Relentless attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure within a deadline-oriented environment
• Comfort working independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong client service skills, and an ability to communicate professionally with others
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business, finance or a related field
