Job Description
Honeycomb is a rapidly growing global startup, reinventing the commercial real estate insurance industry. As the Director of Actuarial, you will support the Underwriting Team, reporting to the Chief Underwriting Officer and working with multiple teams. You will be responsible for pricing, reserving analysis, and ensuring data quality, while making strategic recommendations and leading business initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of actuarial experience related to pricing or reserving with an insurance carrier or MGA
- Bachelor's degree
- Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) highly preferred
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good presentation skill and the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
- Ability to distill key actuarial concepts to others in non-technical terms
- Ability to understand the business holistically and think strategically
