Job Description
We're home to Asia's most dynamic and vibrant capital markets. We're seeking a motivated and energetic Principal Database Specialist to join our Database team to maintain the administration and support for the company-wise database infrastructure.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Computer science, Computer engineering, information technology or relevant discipline
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in managing and supporting Oracle / IBM DB2 / PostgreSQL / GaussDB databases
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle database including RAC, ASM, DataGuard, data partitioning, load balancing, JDBC, ODBC and integration with J2EE applications
- Strong hands-on experience in shell script programming for process improvement and automation
- Experiences in AWS RDS, MS SQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB is an advantage
- Experiences in SQL, PL/SQL and stored procedures
- Experience in system programming and administration on Linux Platform
- Project management experience in sizable scale technology infrastructure implementation
- Proactive, strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and analytical skills
