Electrical & Controls Supervisor

Hood Lumber is seeking an Electrical & Controls Supervisor to join our Waynesboro lumber facility. This role provides hands-on technical leadership for plant automation, controls, and electrical systems.

Requirements

• Lead, coach, and develop PLC Control Technicians and Electricians
• Assist with training progression and skills development for the automation and controls team
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering leadership
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair instrument, electronic, and electrical equipment
• Provide advanced technical expertise in programmable logic control (PLC) systems
• Read and interpret pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
• Test, inspect, calibrate, and adjust control instrumentation and determine root causes of equipment or system malfunctions
