Job Description
Responsible for estimating assigned HVAC projects and maintaining estimating systems. Develops bid schedules, prepares project estimates, and updates material pricing and labor rates. Maintains the estimating system and prices change orders on large projects.
Requirements
- Minimum two years technical education in the engineering field, construction management coursework, or completion of apprenticeship in a respective discipline
- Prior estimating experience in the plumbing/piping industry preferred
- Analytical and problem-solving, strong interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
- General computer skills with a good working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and CAD/BIM software technology
- Ability to work in a normal office environment and make site visits as necessary
