Estimator - Electric Power Division

Hooper, a well-respected electric power and mechanical contractor, is seeking an Estimator to estimate assigned projects and maintain estimating systems. The role involves developing bid schedules, procuring plans, preparing project estimates, and updating estimating systems.

Requirements

• Minimum two years technical education in the engineering field, construction management coursework, or completion of apprenticeship in a respective discipline
• Prior estimating experience in the plumbing/piping industry preferred
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
• General computer skills with good working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and CAD/BIM drawings
