Job Description
Hooper is seeking a Cost Analyst to join their Electric Power Division. The role involves financial data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field and previous experience in cost accounting or financial analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in cost accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, or project management
- Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial software
- Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and data visualization tools may be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams
