Companion

Hope Services is seeking a Companion to provide social and recreational support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The role involves providing companionship, friendship, and daily living skills training, as well as integrating consumers into community activities and events. The Companion will work independently within a small team and have flexible hours and shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Related experience working with people with disabilities
• Valid California driver's license
• Clear driving record
• Auto insurance
• CPR and First aid certification
• Ability to work independently
• Good judgement and decision-making skills
• Responds proactively in emergency situations
