Senior/ Staff/ Principal Mechanical Engineer - Surgical Instruments/Consumables

Horizon Surgical Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior/ Staff/ Principal Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the development of a novel surgical robotic system for ophthalmology. The successful candidate will design systems (hardware and software) for a complete product subjected to FDA regulations. Requirements

• B.S./M.S./Ph.D. degree in a relevant field such as mechanical / mechatronics / biomedical / robotics engineering
• 12/10/6 years of experience in medical device product development
• Design and development of robotic mechanisms and surgical instrumentation
• Compliance with FDA guidelines and sterility standards
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM
• Hands-on prototyping, debugging, and testing
• Sufficient programming ability in languages/software such as Python, MATLAB, or C/C++
• Leadership and collaboration skills
• Effective communication and presentation skills
