Job Description
This Grinding Set-Up Operator/Machinist will set-up and operate CNC cylindrical (O.D) grinders to produce high precision parts made from a variety of materials. Ensures all manufactured parts are in full compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Five plus years of increasingly diverse experience in a machine shop or CNC machining environment
- Ability to set up CNC cylindrical grinders (e.g. Kellenberger, Studer, etc.)
- Experience with centerless grinding (Cincinnati, Royal Master, etc.)
- Ability to read and write comments, understand operation sheets/blueprints, specifications, and all applicable company/customer paperwork
- Physical ability to push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs.
