Job Description
CNC Grinder Machinist role requires experience on a Studer S41 CNC Grinder, performing tasks such as loading, unloading, and operating manual and CNC machines, and selecting and mounting grinding wheels. Experience with various metals and knowledge of blueprint reading, calipers, micrometers, and trigonometry are necessary.
Requirements
- Operate various types of machines such as surface grinders, CNC grinding machines, and manual grinding machines
- Perform repeat setups
- Measure dimensions of finished pieces using precision measuring instruments and fixtures
- Dress grinding wheels according to specifications
