Bright Renewables is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (PLC) to join their international automation team. The successful candidate will design, implement, and commission PLC/SCADA control systems for gas upgrading, CO2 liquefaction, and other products. The role involves technical ownership, freedom to make engineering decisions, and opportunities for growth in renewable energy automation.
Requirements
- Completed technical education (automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar)
- At least 5 years of experience in PLC/SCADA engineering within an industrial environment
- Strong experience with PLC programming, preferably Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
- Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting in industrial installations
- Solid understanding of automation architectures and industrial control systems
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of OT security is a strong plus
