Job Description
The Host is responsible for greeting guests, seating them at tables, taking orders, and managing the waitlist. They will also be the primary point of contact for phone calls and ensuring a positive dining experience. The role involves maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and assisting guests.
Requirements
- Greeting guests and seating them appropriately.
- Operating a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Providing menus and answering phone calls.
- Handling cash and managing the waitlist.
- Maintaining a positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods.
