Platform Engineer Lead II - Brazil

Help build solutions that build better lives at Housecall Pro, a rapidly growing startup backed by top-tier VCs. As a Platform Engineer Lead II, lead the evolution of our internal developer platform with a focus on Developer Experience (DevEx).

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Software Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong experience building and operating systems in cloud environments (i.e., AWS)
• Deep familiarity with CI/CD systems, containerization, and cloud-native architectures
• Experience building internal developer tooling, self-service infrastructure, or platform abstractions
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (i.e., Terraform) and automation frameworks
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, observability, and operational reliability
• Experience integrating security and IAM considerations into platform design
• Proven experience driving team efficiency or output quality through the strategic use of AI tools and automation
• Demonstrated ability to influence architectural decisions across multiple teams without direct authority
