Job Description
The Boathouse at City Point is seeking a Support team member to assist in delivering an exceptional guest experience by keeping service flowing smoothly, assisting both Front of House and Back of House teams, and maintaining clean, organized dining and bar areas. The role includes responsibilities as a Food Runner/Busser and/or Barback, with a focus on communication, teamwork, and providing excellent hospitality every shift.
Requirements
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external guests
- Serve as a connection point between Front of House and Back of House teams
- Deliver food quickly and accurately from the kitchen to guests
- Assist with table clearing, resetting, and maintaining dining room cleanliness
- Support bar operations by stocking liquor, garnishes, and glassware
- Load and unload dishwashers as needed behind the bar
- Ensure food is served in accordance with safety and temperature standards
- Remove dirty dishes and utensils throughout service
- Inform servers or bartenders of guest requests or feedback
- Clean and reset tables or bar areas after guest departure
- Support other restaurant positions as needed
- Provide excellent hospitality and teamwork every shift
- Complete other duties as assigned
