The Project Manager, Construction will oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Requirements
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, schedule, budget, and resources required for construction projects.
- Coordinate and lead project meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any issues or changes in project scope.
- Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Manage and supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction activities are progressing according to plan and identify any potential risks or delays.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Foster strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other partners to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any conflicts or issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the Housing Authority’s mission to provide quality housing solutions by delivering projects that meet the community's needs and expectations.
