HISD is dedicated to providing all students with access to social-emotional learning and academic success. As part of the district’s high-performance culture, the School Counselor, SEL is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive, culturally responsive school counseling program.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Counseling and Guidance
• Two years of exemplary teaching experience
• Working knowledge of personal computers and applicable software
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse student and community population
