Teacher MS Elective Pool 2026-2027

Provides students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning, prepares lessons, and guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals.

Requirements

• Plan a program of study that meets individual needs and abilities of students
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for individual differences
• Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior
• Assess the accomplishments of students and provide progress reports
• Refer students for evaluation by district specialists as required
