Manager, PTR-Bioimage Analysis

The Howard Hughes Medical Institute's Janelia Research Campus is seeking a Manager, PTR-Bioimage Analysis, to manage the PTR-Bioimage Analysis team and provide ground truth data and analysis support for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific interest and background in 3D/4D image analysis, collaborative and organizational skills, and experience in leadership and people management.

Requirements

• PhD degree in biology/biomedical imaging or computer science
• Minimum 3 years of post-PhD experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in image acquisition, image processing, and computer-assisted image analysis
• Leadership and people management experience
• Experience managing a budget
• Good organizational skills for project management
• Intermediate level programming skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment
