Research Technician (Zallen Lab)

The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) is seeking a Research Technician to join the lab of Dr. Jennifer Zallen at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. The individual will assist in biomedical research investigating how cells move, change shape, and communicate with each other to generate functional tissues and organs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, physics, chemistry, engineering, or a related field
• Self-motivated, interactive, and meticulous approach to tasks and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, documentation, and communication skills
• Enthusiasm for learning new approaches and a passion for teaching and helping others
• A minimum of one year of undergraduate research experience is required
