Job Description
The Post Doctoral Fellow position at Howard University is responsible for providing pedagogical, administrative, and research training and support for a Research Fellow for the Center of Excellence. The role involves conducting medication-related health services research among underserved populations, academic career development, and cultural competence.
Requirements
- PharmD or BS in Pharmacy
- Research training such as Ph.D, MPH, DrPH in one of the following disciplines: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Pharmacy Administration (Pharmacoepidemiology), Health Behavior, Health Services Research, Public Health (preferred)
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Competence in both oral and written English and ability to articulate concisely and in a professional manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented interdisciplinary healthcare environment
