Job Description
Howden is a collective of talented and passionate people united by a shared passion and no-limits mindset. We're looking for an Account Executive to join the UK Projects Construction team, assisting with client services proposition, leading market negotiations, and driving new business.
Requirements
- 4-8 years' experience in insurance and the UK London market
- Knowledge of the insurance market and good specific product knowledge
- Knowledge and understanding of standard UK contractual agreements e.g. JCT Design & Build, Facility Agreements and Asset Protection Agreements.
- A good understanding of regulatory and legal frameworks to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
- A keen interest in emerging market trends and product development within the Construction market
- A professional approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently, use initiative, and meet tight deadlines
- Calm and resilient under pressure, with the ability to positively react to change and adapt quickly to new circumstances
- Working towards or having attained ACII (desirable but not crucial)
- Advanced Excel and computer literate skills in basic software (i.e Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word etc.)
- Organised with attention to detail
- Proactive management of workload
