CMM Programmer

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a CMM Programmer to provide an interface between customers and in-house personnel, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the expedient flow of parts through the manufacturing processes to satisfy customers’ delivery requirements. The position involves CMM programming, Structured Light (ATOS Blue Light) measurement programming, Best fit software programming, and NX cad modeling.

Requirements

• Develop Dimensional inspection programs using various programming languages
• Support existing programs by troubleshooting, implementing modifications, or adding new information as required
• Detailed understanding of co-ordinate metrology including the principles of CMMs, and CMM Manager software
• Use NX cad software to extract geometric information from CAD models
• Perform all documentation necessary to satisfy customer and quality requirements
• Instruct end users in the use of applications
