Environmental Engineer

Howmet Aerospace has an opening for an Environmental Engineer in their Hampton, VA facility. The successful candidate will be a key member of the location's EHS Team and will be responsible for maintaining a culture aligned with Howmet's EHS goals and objectives, managing environmental issues, and developing and implementing EHS programs and activities.

Requirements

• Maintain a culture that is aligned with Howmet's EHS goals and objectives
• Manage all environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits
• Develop and implement EHS programs and activities
• Manage contractor management of the wastewater treatment and discharge program
• Evaluate processes to optimize, minimize, or eliminate waste and reduce water usage
