Inspector IV, Quality (1st Shift)

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking an Inspector IV, Quality to perform dimensional inspection and acceptance, visual inspection and acceptance, and receiving inspection and acceptance. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of sampling plans, industry standards, and specifications.

Requirements

• Performing appropriate sampling plan per customer requirements
• Dimensional Inspection and Acceptance
• Visual Inspection and Acceptance
• Receiving Inspection and Acceptance
• Review of 3rd Party Certification of Compliance Documentation
• Supporting Quality in the recall of gages and tools
• Review of Manufacturing Router
• Prepare quality documentation including but not limited to dimensional inspection reports and logbooks for product acceptance
• Prepare non-conformance reports for Quality and Engineering evaluation
• Use hand tooling such as micrometers, microscopes, calipers, and thread gages
• Use sampling plans, drawings, work instructions, industry standards and specification to verify conformance of product acceptance.
