Operator

The Operator position involves manually inserting and fitting parts to produce fasteners to strict tolerances, operating various machines, and ensuring product meets required specifications. The role requires a flexible and responsive approach, with a focus on identifying and focusing on the needs of the business and its customers. The Operator will work as a fully flexible team member to maximize levels of production and quality.

Requirements

• Manual insertion and fitting of parts to produce fasteners to strict tolerances
• Operating various machines in the Production department
• Self-certification of personal work
• Maintenance of accurate computer files and manual paperwork
• Ensuring housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards
• Adherence to quality procedures and root cause analysis
• Training on various machines to ensure 100% flexibility in the workplace
• Participation in continuous improvement teams
• Adherence to company policies and procedures
