Product Engineer

Our state-of-the-art investment casting facility in La Porte, Indiana is seeking a Product Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for the dimensional integrity of an assigned portfolio of investment cast parts, including design and acquisition of tooling, fixtures, gauges, and dimensional inspection plans to produce parts that consistently meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.

Requirements

• Develops and improves processes of critical and complex aerospace components.
• Conceives, evaluates and implements problem solving activities, cost reduction initiatives and part/process improvement activities.
• Investigates and analyzes root cause of external customer escapes, develops and implements corrective action plans accordingly.
• Defines and implements control plans and FMEA per customer requirements.
• Evaluates defects and dimensional integrity of components and determines appropriate actions.
