The Communications Lead for Japan will be accountable for developing, driving, and executing the overall communications strategy, including thought leadership initiatives, corporate and product storytelling, media strategy, content creation and agency management across the market.
Requirements
- Drive earned, paid, shared, and owned media strategy across Japan
- Manage agency, budget and planning
- Define and execute integrated communications plan aligned to market priorities, narratives, new product introductions and campaigns
- Serve as trusted counsel and partner to local leadership
- Lead local MD thought leadership in partnership with pan-region content lead
- Oversee the country communications plan based on global strategy and local priorities
- Accountable for strategy, execution and KPIs (reach and engagement)
- Own and lead local crisis comms and external response
- Attend market management staff calls to ensure alignment to country plans
- Reports to Head of Communications, Greater Asia
