Job description
This role is responsible for overseeing multiple project teams through the entire development lifecycle, applying advanced subject matter knowledge to assess engineering deliverables, ensure alignment with guidelines and standards, and enhance product quality. The role collaborates with customer engineering management to comprehend and document client priorities and requirements, while driving innovation and technology integration for Desktop products.
Leads multiple project teams, evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards, drives a diverse engineering team to resolve product issues, reviews and governs the technical quality of engineering deliverables, and works closely with R&D and other engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years of work experience in engineering design, engineering design tools and software packages, or a related field, and be familiar with PC product R&D or manufacturing process. The role requires effective verbal and written communication, team leadership, learning agility, and customer centricity.
