Wireless Firmware Engineer

Design, develop, and optimize embedded wireless connectivity features for Wi-Fi-enabled devices. Develop, integrate, and maintain 802.11 drivers, supplicant logic, and platform interfaces.

Requirements

• Design, implement, and optimize embedded firmware for Wi-Fi chipsets and connectivity subsystems.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain 802.11 (a/b/g/n/ac/ax) drivers, supplicant logic, and platform interfaces.
• Work closely with silicon vendors to integrate and customize wireless stacks.
• Contribute to the complete product development cycle.
• Keep up with changes in software development tools and techniques.
• Analyze design and determine coding, programming, and integration activities.
• Execute and write portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation.
• Collaborate and communicate with internal and outsourced development partners.
• Develop and maintain firmware architecture.
• Participate in the design process and present new designs and data to back them up.
