Hardware Engineer - Optics

Hardware Engineer - Optics: This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office. The position is responsible for module level specifications and test verification across HPE’s switching, routing and security platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of optical transceiver module specification and test experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience testing state of the art pluggable optics modules per current optical IEEE standards and industry MSA specifications
• Comprehensive knowledge of optical equipment, electrical equipment, and automation software used in the testing of optical modules and interfaces
