Principal Cloud Developer – Virtualization

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal Cloud Developer – Virtualization to lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for its HPE Hybrid Cloud. The role involves designing, developing, and product portfolio of the next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. The ideal candidate will have expertise in virtualization and cloud technologies, experience in software development, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Virtualization infrastructure software development
• Designing, implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting software systems
• Partnering with architects and engineering leadership to develop and deliver competitive roadmaps
• Assisting customer issues, providing RCA insights, and ensuring technical standards and documentation requirements are met
• Staying updated on industry trends and technology changes to drive innovation into the business
• Collaborating with sales, engineering, and operational teams to understand customer needs and recommend solutions
• Learning about operational challenges faced by engineering teams and assisting in developing risk-mitigating strategies to address them
• Setting an example for and mentoring junior engineering talent and representing engineering teams in various technical forums
