Job Description
Huawei Canada is looking for a Developer to work on power communication protocols, with a focus on IEC 61850, DNP3, and Modbus. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and experience with power communication protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with power/industrial communication protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, IEC 104)
- Proficiency in C/C++ or other system-level languages (Go, Rust, Python)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, sockets)
- Ability to work with engineering documentation and technical standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
