Manager, Applications Development

The Manager, Applications Development is responsible for the development of a state-of-the-art microservices application platform and guides the development of cloud-native applications and frameworks using an API-first strategy.

Requirements

• Design and drive internal methodologies and process improvements
• Agile development experience
• Leadership experience in software development
• Experience with DevOps principles and tools
• Knowledge of modern development processes and technologies
• Experience with NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB
• Experience developing containerized applications using Azure, AWS, Docker
• Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation and motivational skills
• Ability to attract, engage and retain top diverse technical talent
• Domain knowledge and experience in application development
• Understanding and leveraging team member strengths
• Client focused mindset
• Ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues
• Manage staff performance and identifies training needs
• Review and approve project deliverables
• Ensure all internal controls and policies are adhered to
• Enforce quality practices and provide quality measurements
• Provide direction, guidance, and promote growth of DevOps function
• Manage scope and delivery expectations with business partners
• Partner closely with business and enterprise architecture teams

• Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000+/year + bonus eligibility
