Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Deck Supervisor, the swim instructor will teach swimming in accordance with the Hubbard Family Swim School (HFSS) standards of safety and excellence and the Teacher Standards.
Requirements
- At least two years of high school education
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Emotional maturity and enjoyment of water
- Ability to instruct in the pool for up to 5 hours per day
- Genuine interest in youth character development
- At least one year of experience working with youth, educational classes, swimming, youth programs, recreation, or a related field (preferred)
- Personal acceptance of the four Core Values of HFSS
